This 24 x 30“ acrylic on stretched canvas was painted for an exhibition called New Interpretations and is a whimsical re-envisioning of Caravaggio’s Bacchus.  A half lamb/human now stands in for the wine god and inspires the name Baa-chus.  You have to say the name— it is part of the whimsy.
The piece is framed in an oak frame at 1.5 inches deep.
